It is of great importance to us that all spare parts leaving our facilities are in perfect working condition. For this reason, we check each and every spare part we have in stock.

One part that we consider very important and fundamental is that the engines are thoroughly checked before being sold, since it is a vehicle spare part that, among other things, has a high installation cost. Therefore, our main priority is that our customers receive a quality engine.

To do this, our team of professional mechanics carry out several checks on the engine from the moment the car arrives until it is decided whether it is suitable for sale.

  • Auditory test: our technicians evaluate the sound of the engine once started; if a metallic noise is heard, it could be the connecting rod bearings, camshaft bearings… which means it is discarded for sale as a complete engine.

  • Warm-up test: the engine is kept running long enough to check whether it heats up correctly within its control parameters and whether the cooling circuit does not build up pressure, to rule out any head gasket failure.

  • Manual test: we check whether the water and coolant hoses are under pressure.

  • Gas test: it is a visual test, this indicator shows us whether the engine has CO2 or not.

All these previous tests are carried out with the engine mounted and running in the car. Once disassembled, we perform further verification tests.

  • Compression test: while this compression test is being carried out, our technicians perform an auditory test. The compression test is performed by inserting the probe into the tool to check each of the engine cylinders and we digitally obtain the result of said test, the compression sheet.

  • Visual inspection at labeling: once the motor successfully passes all the previous checks, it reaches the labeling department; where they visually inspect the engine; mounts, oil pan, we confirm it does not leak oil, that the block has no cracks, possible intake manifold damage, the sensors... We turn the engine to confirm once again that, the engine is not seized.

This last visual inspection is repeated again before shipping the engine once ordered by the customer, to ensure we send it in optimal condition and that it has not deteriorated during storage (which is usually a very short period).

Deterioration is unlikely due to the storage methods we use for them.

Absolutely all of our spare parts come with a warranty and an extra bonus… Our CONFIAUTOR service. We want our customers to buy with confidence and the assurance that everything will go smoothly, which is why we reinvest in them. For any reason attributable to Recoautos that results in a return and has involved installation labor, we will find a replacement or, failing that, a full refund — and we cover an extra 25% of the part's cost to help customers with labor costs. With this service, we aim for our customers to have the same confidence in our products that we have ourselves, guaranteeing that our spare parts are of high quality.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY AN ENGINE, WE THINK YOU HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT PLACE!
