Frequently asked questions
It's an option worth considering if you need to replace your old rims or if they've been stolen. Although they may seem like just an accessory, rims are an essential part of the vehicle, and their price can be high — so choosing to buy used rims for your vehicle can save you a significant amount of money.
Like all parts in our catalogue, each rim is thoroughly inspected to assess its condition. Every rim you'll find in our online store is ready to fit, carefully checked, and priced in line with its condition.
It is also known as offset — a numerical value that indicates the distance in millimetres between the centre of the rim and the contact surface on the wheel hub. In short, it is how far the rim shifts inward or outward relative to the centre of the hub. This is a very important value to consider when choosing a rim, as it affects the position of the wheel in relation to the bodywork, which in turn influences the handling and safety of the vehicle.
It is a code that provides information about the tire, such as its dimensions, load capacity, and the maximum speed at which it can be used.
Just as with new tires, you only need to check the inflation pressure regularly, align the steering, and balance the wheels. It is also advisable to rotate the tires periodically to ensure even wear.
It is advisable to replace them every five years, regardless of their appearance. If they show excessive wear, cuts, bulges, or unusual vibrations, they should be replaced as soon as possible.
It can seriously compromise safety while driving, as traction will be reduced, increasing the risk of aquaplaning and affecting braking performance.
Each product listing includes all the relevant information, including the vehicle models it is compatible with.
